Do you have frost on the inside of your windshield?
Frost build-up on the inside of the windshield is caused by moisture inside the car. The most likely culprit is water trapped in your floor mats. You’ll need to dry the floor mats thoroughly to prevent the problem from reoccurring.
But frost on the inside of your windshield can also be caused by a leaky seam around the glass.
We have a special machine called an ultrasonic leak detector that will help us determine if there’s a leak around your windshield that’s letting moisture into the cabin of your vehicle.
If there is a leaky seal, we can fix it for you by removing your windshield and replacing the adhesive that holds the glass in place.
Tip: to defrost the inside of your windshield, turn on your defroster, set the fan to high and wait a few minutes.
